Our Goal

Today the rPET being used for textile comes from used PET bottles, only around 1 % comes from used PET textiles, time for a change !
Therefor our goal is to design together with the textile industry products made from 100 % PET.

Why from PET:

– Can easily mechanically be reprocessed and made into yarn again, keeping the properties
– Of all used textile fibers in the world about 50 % is PET, therefor available in large volumes

Advantages of textile made of rPET fibers:

  • Contribution to the environment ; 50 % less energy is needed to produce rPET compared to virgin PET
  • Answer to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)regulations
  • C02 , +/- 30 % lower emissions
  • No landfill or burned
  • No waste of resources
  • Waste has a cost
